Jeff Landau, MBA

Chief Executive Officer

Jeff Landau joined Stipple Bio in April 2025. He has over 20 years of experience in corporate development, strategy and new product planning. He has held senior roles including, most recently, Chief Business Officer and Head of Strategy at CytomX Therapeutics, where he broadly led partnering, licensing and corporate and product strategy. Prior executive roles included corporate development and commercial and product strategy at Catalyst Biosciences, Threshold Pharmaceuticals, and Onyx Pharmaceuticals (acquired by Amgen). Jeff has an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BS in biochemistry from Virginia Tech. He currently serves on the boards of California Life Sciences and Sunterra Bio.

Michelle Zhang, PhD

Chief Scientific Officer

Michelle Zhang joined Stipple Bio in Month May 2024. She has over 20 years of drug discovery and development experience spanning biotech and pharma. Prior to Stipple Bio, she held senior research leadership roles at Ikena Oncology, including SVP of Translational Research and Early Development, before being promoted to Chief Scientific Officer, where she was responsible for shaping the company’s research strategy and advancing discovery programs toward clinical candidate nominations and IND filings. Previously, she held research and development roles at Curis, Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research, and BioMed Valley Discoveries. Michelle has a PhD in Biochemistry from Harvard University and a BS in Biology from Fudan University in Shanghai.

Roland Gendron, MBA

Chief Business Officer

Roland Gendron joined Stipple Bio in July 2026. He has over 25 years of biotech and corporate development experience, including an extensive record of asset licensing, partnerships and acquisition transactions. Before joining Stipple Bio, Roland was SVP Corporate Development and Alliance Management at Merus N.V. (acquired by Genmab). Prior executive roles included SVP Corporate Development at Bluejay Therapeutics (acquired by Mirum), and Global Head of Oncology Corporate Development at Gilead Sciences. Mr. Gendron also held business development leadership positions at CytomX Therapeutics and Seagen (acquired by Pfizer). Roland has an MBA from the University of California Berkeley and has BSc and MSc degrees in Chemistry from the University of Victoria.

Andrew "Andi" Lake, PhD

Vice President of Translational Biology

Andi Lake joined Stipple Bio in August 2024. He has 20 years of experience leading translational development and discovery-stage programs toward clinical development. He previously worked at Surface Oncology, where he was a program lead supporting immuno-oncology candidates through preclinical development and IND submission. Prior to Surface, Andi held scientific and translational research roles in at Tempero Pharmaceuticals (a GSK company), Sirtris Pharmaceuticals, Pfizer, Wyeth, and Boston Scientific. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Paris, earned a PhD in Cell, Molecular and Developmental Biology from Tufts University School of Medicine and a BA in Biology from College of the Holy Cross.
